The city itself is very walkable. There is a very effective public transportation system in place that is very easy to navigate should you choose. Paris is generally considered a very safe city for travelers. The main attractions are all in close proximity and very lively. You should be cautious of street vendors near the big attractions like the Eiffel Tower as sometimes they can get pushy and aggressive

Cultural Norms:

Paris is a city we recommend everyone visit at least once. At the risk of sounding cliché, it really is magical and there is something in the air. The culture, the food and the vibe of the city are second to none. The locals are very proud of their culture and heritage and they appreciate when visitors show an active interest in their heritage. Don’t worry about watching what you eat, there is so much walking to be done you will burn it all off. Tips are included in the price of food items listed on menus. If you are considering a trip, don’t think, just go. You won’t regret it!
