Cultural Norms:

People are generally laid back in La La Land. Tipping is expected at all dining options from Starbucks to Spago. The overall vibe of the city is casual chic, so don’t be surprised if you go out to for a nice dinner and see guys in denim (they will be designer of course) unless the dress code is specified by venue. Parking within the city is a nightmare. There is no nice way to put it, leave yourself a margin while commuting for traffic and parking. While in the city expect to pay for parking. Make sure you have cash on hand you will pay anywhere from $10-$20 based on location and day.
