General Climate:

Maui has tropical climate and is known for its mild climate year-round. There are sprouts of showers but they are short lived and honestly there is no bad time to go to Maui. Even in the winter months the temperature is never super cold.

Getting Around the City:

Maui has a vast range of mountains and as well as valleys on the island. It is best that you get a car rental if you plan on staying and exploring the island as the ride share options can get expensive.

Electronic Appliance Support:

110-120-volt electricity is generated at 60 Hz (60 cycles per second) alternating current.

Safety:

Maui is considered extremely safe to visit. They have nearly 3 million visitors a year and the local government has done an amazing job ensuring that the city is welcoming to locals. We always recommend using good judgement and following general travel safety when you are out and about.

Cultural Norms:

One of THE most beautiful islands. We have heard time and time again from people who have traveled the world about how much they love Maui. We can vouch for it as well. There is something soothing in the air when you wake up and see the gorgeous water and the friendly locals. Be prepared for a pricey visit, everything on the island is generally more expensive when compared to the mainland. That being said, I don’t think there is a single person who has gone to Maui and not had an amazing time.
